HookGen is a revolutionary web app that uses Artificial Intelligence to create completely new and original songs. This innovative tool uses several trained Artificial Neural Networks to generate different types of music hooks using only piano notes. Users can choose between two main emotions, “sad” or “happy,” and two levels of note complexity, “simple” or “complex” to customize their generated songs.

HookGen enables composers to generate new music hooks intuitively and quickly, and is perfect for those who want to save time and are looking for music inspiration. Currently only with piano notes, by the end of 2019 HookGen plans to add drums, guitar, bass, strings, and brass instruments. Additionally, HookGen is free to use, and the songs generated are royalty-free. Users can download the generated MIDI file within any DAW including Ableton, Pro Tools and Logic Pro X. Also, if you enjoy sharing your work, HookGen generates unique URLs that can be shared with your audience.

The HookGen system logs user interactions and information, such as the length of time that a song was played, the parts that were played the most, and what songs were skipped. This information is used to feed the neural network, which helps AI to learn better how to produce a more refined and improved song according to a user’s preferences.

Note that HookGen works only on desktop PCs or Macs and not on mobile devices.
